Pretty good for your first. My first was a rickety Bushmaster. Reliable as hell, but not a particular quality firearm. Reasonably accurate too! Now I have 3 Noveske's after I managed to rape people on parts prices over the last few months and turn the money into my dream rifles |

I think when I build another, it will be a noveske. |

Nice little carbine, looks a lot like one of mine. Question... why put the T-1 so far forward? I prefer my optic right up against the BUIS. Having it that far forward helps to reduce the amount of field of view the optic itself takes up, IMO. I tried it in a couple of places and it seemed to be the most comfortable there. |

On a regular magnified optic that is the only way to run them. But the T-1 has infinite eye relief, and the further forward you run it the more the housing disappears and leaves only a floating red dot on target when running both eyes open. I even have a pic somewhere looking through a T-1 on my rifle from about 10yd away...kind of cool. |

Probably doesn't change zero much at 50 yds?
