...have you put through a single gun in one day?...took my new KAC SR 15 out today and did some shooting and kinda got lost in what a great time I was having and before I knew it 1000 rnds of Lake City were gone ...just curious as I'm sure many of you have out done that, and I don't mean at classes etc. just out at the range or like in my case on my property having fun.

around 400 rounds of 30-06 through a Savage 110 in a day at a scout camp I worked at

1200 out of a Glock 17

In .22LR, probably at least 2 federal bulk packs

Probably around 7.5-10k in the span of about 8 hours...

...through a California legal gun.

It's also easily had over 500k rounds through it. Other than one barrel swap, a new bolt and the replacement of a few tiny wear parts, it's just the way it came from the factory. It also shoots better than the day I got it

50-200, but I tend to bring a few different guns with me to mix it up.

I remember 750 through a 10/22 once, all suppressed. That is probably the most through one gun in one day.

Do .22s count? Over 1K of them… For a 9mm or .45 like 250. And for 5.56 probably like 200. I have never taken a class though. I would love to be able to blast through 1K of 5.56 in a day….

7K .5.56, 2K of it tracer.  One poor old M16A1. Can't  turn it in doncha know.

I seem to recall burning thru about 1500 rounds of 5.56 in an AR many years ago when ammo was way cheaper!  Also just got carried away shooting with some friends!

This, maybe 50-100 more if I only take handguns and depending on how many different ones.

Around 1000 in my P30 back in 2007.  Literally wore a blister on my trigger finger.  After that day I bought a pair of shooting gloves to wear if I ever shoot that much in a single session again.  Since then I have rarely broke 300 rounds in a single session.

About 1,500 rounds through a Bushmaster in one day. Just got a slide fire stock for it. Me and a friend couldn't stop shooting it. We finished off an ammo can and opened a fresh case of lake city. After we realised we had almost finished the case we decided to finish it off. My friend bought me 2 cases of LC as payment for a fun day at the range

To this date that Carbon 15 has about 5,000 rounds of slide fire pumped through it , it hasn't blown up yet

1K through an AR many times. probably a little more than 1K in .22 through my buckmark many times too. I must have close to 20K rounds through that buckmark.

Thousand a day used to be my normal day on range until shooting started being about small groups. Slide is completely shot loose on this Colt, barrel lock-up is still tight. 100 well placed shots is a good day for me. If out with long range rifle 20 well placed shots at 600 yards is a real high.

Literally thousands, too many thousands to count.  All on full auto, through a GAU-5.  Then got to blow up the GAU in the evening with C-4 to get rid of it too.  All in a day's work in EOD in Saudi Arabia...Desert Storm days.  Doing an ammo ADR the hard way.

Centerfire?  Appx. 400 rounds of 9mm through my XD9.

Centerfire rifle?  60 rounds every high power match, which is well over my practice limit for a day.

Rimfire?  Shit, who knows.  250 rounds goes through an American 180 awful quick...
(not my gun, sadly, but I've brought a bunch of bulk packs to help feed a friend's a few times)

500 rounds of Lake City M-193. I would do that about twice a month...back in the good 'ol days. Ammo was cheap and the thought of reloading wasn't even on the radar for me then, so I left all that brass lay.
This was of course back in '05 for the NEWBS.

I think I've went thru a whole 640 round can of Tula 7.62x39 in a Yugo M59/66A1 SKS I used to own. It kinda just happened.

I've had a few ~800 round handgun sessions outside of class, but I think my highest centerfire round count days are all at classes.

I don't think I've ever exceeded 100 rounds in a single gun. I usually take several to the range and seldom carry more than 100 rounds per gun.

2200 rounds thru an American 180.

It took less than 10 minutes.....

I shot up 600 of my 9mm reloads one afternoon with my 9mm Beretta. I was selling off certain calibers and the 9mm was on the list.

I sat at the club with pistol on the right and ammo can on the left. I had a lot of brass to pick up when I was done...

When I bought my first AR I decided I needed to "break it in".  One can of MilSurp M193 and an afternoon at the range with a lot more time spent loading mags than emptying them.
