Make your own ice cream.  It's doesn't freeze well unless you put in preservatives, but damn is it good.  Keep it simple and use the freshest/best ingredients.

We've made our own a couple times and if it's done right it's a thing of fucking beauty.

But, sometimes that little cylinder of goodness beckons an irresistible siren song of creamy frozen nomminess from the freezer and it must be heeded.
