[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Just got pulled over... (Page 1 of 2)

On my way home from work, trying to make the pharmacy to fill a prescription for my wife before the pharmacy closed, I rolled through a yellow'ish/red light (mostly yellow). The officer immediately blows a 180, gets behind me and lights 'me up.
Him- "Sir do you know why I pulled you over" Me- "Yes sir I rolled through a yellow light which was turning red" Him- "License, registration, insurance card" Me- "Here you go officer" 2 minutes goes by... Him- "You're all set sir, have a nice evening.........(with a funny smirk)nice truck" Me- "Thank you sir" Must like Noveske

I got pulled over last week. I entered a school zone too fast, immediately realized it, and slowed down.
The officer waved me over and stated I entered the school zone too fast. I apologized and stated it was entirely my fault, I should have been paying closer attention. He told me to be more careful in the future, and sent me on my way. (This it the boring Police stop thread, right?) |

My step dad has a cousin that just became governor of the state. He is a distant cousin and they have never really spoken but both are very conservative. He still had the campaign sticker on the back of his car when he got pulled over for having his high beams on, the bulb in the dash was burned out and he didn't know. The cop flashed his lights at him but he didn't think to switch his lights because he still didn't know his brights were on. So the cop got a bit frustrated and pulled him over. Officer: "did you know it's illegal to drive with your brights on?!" Step Dad: "I didn't know they were on( he moves the lever back and forward noticing there is no indicator for the brights) my bulb is burned out" Officer: "Well I flashed my lights at you and you still didn't turn them off, let me have your license I'll be right back" Few minutes go by Officer: "Are you a member of office? Step Dad: "No but my cousin just became governor" Officer: "Have a nice night sir"

what you have on the back of your vehicle matters, most LE are gun guys. Funny you should mention that. I was over at one of my tenant's places yesterday. We were BSing in the garage and he brought up the topic of gun control and said it was stupid because it only took guns out of the hands of the law abiding. He's a Deputy. I like him, even though his dogs are tearing the hell out of the backyard. |
