Just saw that there was another incident in Kuwait.

A group of marines were driving along when a civilian car pulled beside them and pulled a gun. The marines opened fire on them and pulled away. The news said "The last time they saw the civilian car, it was careening off the road". [50]

Don't mess with the marines.

In yesterday's incident, the Marine MP's chased the car down and shot the shit out of em.... I can just picture the passenger yelling; "Faster Achmed, FASTER!"

I can also see the MP's yelling; "PAYBACK MOTHERFUCKERS!" as they dropped the hammer.

It was the correct decision to not issue ammo the first time around. They were doing MOUT training, and I certainly wouldn't have wanted the guy on the other end of the trigger to be carrying live ammo in that situation, absent a good reason. Which the shooters provided.

After the first incident, though, it sounds like they issued live rounds to everyone.
