Thought I would start my first post with a dinner pic.
New york strip (medium-rare) Griled shrimp Baked potato w/ sauteed onions Firemans 4 http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff507/hacky1107/20130430_180818.jpg[/URL] |
| The haze is from cooking on a cast iron skillet; the stove exhaust is terrible. Think of it as meat scented air freshener. That is the DVD remote not in use. You got me on drink refill. Doneness of the steak you're gonna have to take my word on i didn't want to stop eating to take another picture. |

Looking at that picture I can tell you eat dinner in a fog bank..... LOL. 9 out of 10. I was brutalized for having the infamous A1 Bottle. A little advice. Yeah...watch out for the steak Nazis around here. Lord forbid if you dont like your cow raw and like sauce of any sort. |

Sorry in advance for being harsh.
The photography is horrible and precludes me actually scoring the food, which for me is always the star. In addition to the photography being lacking, the composition is also lacking. Less is more. Gun/magazine positioning is awkward. Table setting is incorrect and what are you eating on....an ottomen?
Honestly it looks like you decided after you cooked your meal "hey I'm going to do a dinner pic". IOW no planning/rushed. Nice try but but that dinner pic is mediocre at best. ETA: I'm not even going to get into the set-up of your AR. |

For fucks sake!!!!
So much potential here. The food looks good in this blurry ass foggy fuckjob of an excuse for a photo Why the fuck do you have real plates that look exactly like paper plates? The hardware looks good , no complaints there I like to see a pregame pic of the food in the prep stage, or at very least a pic of the steak cut open so you can see the doneness. Also, a wow/fun factor is always welcome, "maybe replace that remote with a bong or a dildo or something more exciting than a remote Food choice was outstanding, presentation was as cute as a bag of smashed assholes 6.5/10 |

ETA: I'm not even going to get into the set-up of your AR. No hard feelings. Yes its an ottoman I don't really have room for a dinning room table so I made do. Beats milk crates. The haze as stated above is from the stoves exhaust fan being terrible. Steak was cooked on cast iron. You don't have to like the ar set up I built it to my liking because I have to use it. |

I was justr trying to give you some advise. I'm probably the most prolific Dinner Pic poster on Arfcom. People were generous to you last night and it will not always go that well. Presentation is important and everything in the picture says "no thought given". Although the food may be good the plate is a total mess. Guns and reloads should be logically organized. No need for an AR and a shotgun makes everything cluttered. As far as your AR set-up being none of my business...you're right it's not. As a firearms instructor, I feel obligated to point out safety issues. Why is the AR loaded, breach side down and the selector in the FIRE position? Once again it shows you were in a hurry to take a dinner pic as an after thought. IM me if you want some advice on the mounting your scope. |
