Yeah!  And each person will get free plane tickets to one big bash complete with free BBQ food, free large crates of ammo, booze, and women. [beer]   Of course, there will be men available for the single women participants.  But you are not invited.  [:D]  [:D]

I don't know why you are getting so uptight with all of US about this. Your "DOJ" figured that none of you CA's were responsible enough to own any of these awesome weapons. IMHO, You should be pissed at them!!

Boy, the Big Reno gun show was great last weekend.  Tons of off-paper AR15s, HK91s, FALs, Kimbers, Glocks... you name it.  No insta-registration, no paper, no CA DOJ permission slips or registration forms, no Red Davis breathing down our necks... just pure unadulterated freedom.

I'm actually going to have to buy a third safe for all the off-paper toys I've been picking up.  I feel sorry for those across the border in communist occupied territory.

Hello, my name is Jarhead, and I used to live in California.

Yes folks, that's right.
I used to pay $1.85 for a gallon of gas.
I used to pay $3.50 for a gallon of milk.
I used to sit on the 91 freeway for hours even at 1 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning.
I used to drive from range to range looking for a place that didn't look down their nose at me for wanting to shoot my "assault rifle" at silouhette targets.
I used to pay a percentage of the value of my car (a tax) to register it.
I used to live in a 1950 sq ft house with a zero lot-line.

Then one day I loaded up my family and my evil, nasty, bayonet lug and pistol grip having, standard capacity magazine capable firearms and moved to Texas.

Ahhhh Texas.
The home of Shiner Bock, the Texas Rangers (the LEO, not the MLB team), the busiest little death row in the nation, The Alamo, Goliad, barbecue, shall-issue CCW, $1.48 gas, $1.50 milk, $55 automobile registration and the Texas Black Rifle Shoot.

Yeeeee Haawwwww!

Semper Fidelis
Jarhead out.

I kick myself in the butt now and then for not getting something in the last few days that I should have but I've learned to be happy with what I've got. You can still get an fal,and even some other things if you're creative.
Even if I had a galil I would still want more.
Just be happy with what you have and be glad you weren't 17 in 2000.

I could have sworn this thread was going to be Frank defending Kali and telling everyone to quit ragging on her.

Have you picked out your new state yet, Frank?

Since we from Ca. can't join the Limited AR15 group purchase, how about starting an M1A group purchase in the future. At least we can still be part of that.

ASR - M1A purchase?  Woohoo!!!  Count me in...  or actually, I guess my wife.  She's been walking about the M1 a bit recently.  Hmmmm...   I can see it now...

"Oh honey!  I have to support my fellow brethren and encourage them to keep the 2nd Amendment alive.  They have that gun for sale you were asking about.  And it's a great price too... I put in the order for it, and it'll be here next week!"

WOOHOO!!!  Sign me up!

The simple answer, Frank, is MOVE!!  California has NOTHING over any other state except the most socialist/Nazi gov't in CONUS. Vote with your feet and move to a state that still has some liberty left.

Please do not do a group M1A purchase.  Please don't do it!  I will not be able to resist as it is my weakness.  [:I]
