Last year as the Treyvon incident was breaking and the media was showing pictures of him being a child and only reporting one side of the incident, I told her that we were not hearing the whole story and to wait until all the facts come out. She got angry and broke up with me.
We are still sort of friends and eat lunch tougher at work every now and then. So when the bombing happened we were talking and she asked me who I thought was behind it. I suggested a bet. Loser buys a steak dinner for the winner. I picked Muslims, she picked Tea Party NRA member acting alone. Hahah! We had lunch again today. I never brought up the subject. But before we went back to work she said it looks like I owe you a steak dinner. They never learn. |
