About a month or so ago there was a poll asking if there was support for a watch forum. Did that ever happen?
I purchased my first 'nicer' watch about a year ago. It is a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Last week I ordered an Orient Esteem that should get to me in a couple days. Today my wife and I were walking around a mall and we stopped in a watch store. I walked out with my best watch yet, complements of my beautiful wife. This Hamilton Khaki (pictured below) is mine.

Yes, there are many. Some of which I've been reading lately. But I like the arfcom format and would enjoy a watch forum here more than elsewhere on the web. As much as I'd have liked to get one of the Victorinox or other pricier watches I was putting my dirty prints on today, it just wasn't in the books. My wife also got a Coach bag earlier in the day. I'll eventually put at least one high end watch in the collection. What is thought of the Orient brand? I know it's not any where near high end but is it a decent time piece for a beginner enthusiasts/collector? |
