Does he not know that you can extend the stock? I could be wrong but its not touching any part of his shoulder and it's completely resting on his cheek. It looks terribly uncomfortable not the proper way to shoot. But I have had no formal training. I did notice that as well. My a stable shooting platform. I'm guessing he was just glassing something. -SleeperShooter |

Why the fuck would cops use cans? [ETA] OH! FSA! Gotta bust that budget! Same reason you would use a suppressor. Protects your hearing... Then I demand we issue one to every member of the armed forces. They have a tendency to shoot guns more often. |

Damn son, you just went full retard. ![]() |

Not even remotely. Spend the money where it is actually needed and will reap the greatest benefit. |

Nice way to switch gears. Not buying it. I doubt anyone else will either. You just wanted to whine about cops with suppressors. |

If they're going to have rifles then I think it only makes sense for them to use cans. I own 5 cans and I didn't buy them to be tier 1. I bought them to help preserve my hearing. Tinnitus is a bitch and hearing protection is not always convenient or even an option in a fight. Do a few 3 round bursts without protection and then tell me why they shouldn't use cans. As far as their budget, I'm sure they get a deal on them. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying disability for hearing damage. I've been trying to get VA disability for tinnitus for years and all I've gotten is lost in the system. |

Repeal the stupid NFA so we can all own one, without all the hassle. Even if the NFA was repealed, places like Kalifornia, NJ, Shitcago, DC, NY and the like wouldn't let you have one anyway. Florida probably would though. Maybe. The wording of Florida's state law is such that the state only allows cans and sbr's because the feds expressly allow it. Repeal NFA, poof, no more fun toys in Fl. There are several other states likes this, btw. People need to fucking think before they blindly call for this or that to be repealed. |
|
For fuck's sake, people.
If you want a suppressor, then fucking buy one. If you can't buy one in the state you live in, then join the NRA and help get those dumbass laws off the books. Wah, wah, wah, the cops have shit I'm not allowed to or can't afford. Yes, it's wrong, yes, it's hypocritical, yes, it's bullshit. But blame the politicians and your fellow voters. It's not the cops' fault. |

It looks terribly uncomfortable not the proper way to shoot. But I have had no formal training. The cheek weld and head pressure looks correct. The stock looks good as well. That is how I was trained in marksmanship on a m16 by the army marksmanship unit at camp perry in the small arms firing school. |
| One of the reasons my local PD uses cans is that it allows the officers to know who is shooting. If they hear suppressed weapon fire coming from inside a building, they know who is shooting. Plus, the can will eliminate the muzzle flash which can help in an environment where meth is being cooked. |

Quoted: Quoted: Not having suppressors when you can is stupid. Boston pd must be too pc. Yes but the problem is that Mass has a suppressor ban along with many others. NOT PREFESSINAL ENUOGH Obviously that does not apply to law enforcement. Hell Boston PD will charge you for having a knife over 2"
