Ok, this old dude I came across wants to move to CO from TX (stupid, yes, but he is ancient and needs to be near his kids). He has these guns, most NIB. Can you decipher and let me know if the prices are good to go? Thinking about buying them all since he needs the cash

Looks like he wants top dollar for some of that stuff. $2200 for a Python? Yeah, I want a Python but come on man. That might be the retail price? Someone will chime in. Whats so special about the chromed Colt? $2700? If you want to all the guns, make him an offer well below what he is asking. Like 40% below. Its a pain in the ass to sell all those guns separately and the old timer knows it. He also knows that Gun Shops will offer him about 40% of what he is asking. |
| He's proud of those guns. Nice guns, but I wouldn't pay asking price for any of those. As stated earlier, make him a bundled discount offer. In my experience, someone who asks top dollar for their shit like this is going to get their feelings hurt when you tender a reasonable offer. Be prepared for the butt hurt. |
