Hi Guys,
Some of you may know me from various other threads but I am going on vacation at the end of May. Doing a cruise after which I am doing my honeymoon in Florida. My question is I know I can take the firearm with me on the plane as long as I follow guidelines, etc. When I get to Florida the night before the cruise I would like to store the firearm somewhere until I return at which point I will be in Florida for another week.

Where are good places to store firearms in this situation? I won't have a car or anything. Storage unit would be overkill.

Help would be appreciated.

Just some random thoughts:

bus terminal locker
drop off at gunstore for a cleaning or install night sights
bury it somewhere unobserved off the beaten path
leave with a trusted forum member in the area

Contact a local FFL and arrange to put the gun in for "Cleaning".





Pick up the gun when you get back and pay the guy for wiping it down with an oily rag.





This is probably WAY to simple for ARFCOM.
