| I got a microwave oven that shoots the waves just fine but that plate inside you put your food on doesn't turn anymore. Can this thing be taken apart and turned into some kind of weapon? If not I'll just shit can the whole thing. |

If not I'll just shit can the whole thing. I will tell you how to FIX it. Take a pencil and jam it in the HOLE for the door latch. That should lock out the SAFETY switch and let YOU turn the microwave on with the door open. Now take a frozen turkey and test it. Put the turkey in and set the timer to the 99 minutes. Stand IN FRONT of the oven and turn it on, since you locked out the safety switch it should run with the door open. Lean in to the oven with your head and use YOUR MOUTH to grab the plate spinner and rotate the turkey slowly. You ma notice an headache after a couple of minutes. The headache will go away right before you dumbass head explodes. This would answer your question. [;D] |

A (NONLETHAL) microwave weapon uses different frequencies to disable organic soft targets. As for using it as a deadly device, probably not a safe way to carry it around and use it without frying your own insides. Scott P.S. Found it my own damn self, so there.... NEENER NEENER NEENER (EDITED 'CAUSE I AM HAVING CLARITY ISSUES AGAIN) |

Quoted: some guy was trying to fix his microwave one time and killed himself. his head was inside the microwave, and he was trying to fix it guess he fryed himself. It's a true story, happend a few years ago. Probably died because he never discharged the High Voltage capacitor. You see even though a microwave is unplugged, the HV Capacitor holds a charge anywhere from 2,000 volts on up. So you can still get electrocuted even though the unit is unplugged. co worker of mine got bit by the HV Capacitor and his finger was only 1/4 of an inch (so he says) away from it. That shit is dangerous if you dont know what you are doing. I know this thread is all in fun, but I just wanted to warn you guys if anyone is a Do-it-yourselfer and wants to fix their microwave oven. ***This has been a service announcement from DrFrige*** |
