Looks like my dog has been licking the shotgun....it is now fully covered in rust. Any tips to take the rust off?

Surely a Virginia Tech Castrated Turkey Shooter would know this answer ?? (Get your dog a MINERAL and vitamin supplement.)

Dog blood will take that right off. Put the meat in the freezer, I'll be up in that area in a couple weeks. [BD]

I think its called GIBBs or something like that. I have an old can of it. Just spray and scrub away. No steel wool need, just a thick cloth. Most excellent for surface rust.

Two dog incidents reported in a week. First Greasey gets clipped by his golden retriever and spraigns his ankle, now this? Flitz is capable of taking rust off but it might be too powerful.
