Welcome to the site.

Your age wont be an issue, unless you act like an asshole, which I'm sure you wont.

Great site we have here...lots of real cool people, some morons, but for the most part an extremely well run forum for RKBA people and shooting sports.

Jump right in and have fun.

Hey there, I like seeing younger people interested in shooting. It doesn't seem as popular as when I was a teenager.

Have you had much chance to shoot much?

Welcome aboard!

We like young shooters. Listen close and learn. Always remember to question everything and learn from those around you.

Welcome! Hope you drag a few buds along for the ride, love to see the younger people into shooting. This is a good forun to learn about both firearms and the politics that control them. Be sure to vote when you come of age.

I found this place about a month ago. I was looking for information so I could make a "good" choice about which brand and configuration AR15 I should buy and I was linked to this site (well all my guns are in my dads name but I pay for them, I actually perfer to pay for my own guns, I feel I take better care of something if I know it was my money that was used to buy it). So,  I was linked to this site and have found myself unable to go for more than a few hours with out coming back to see what has been posted so I decided to become a member.  Gonna go do homework now, bye.

Go for it, young'un. When I was 16, I also had a semi auto-- M1 Carbine. Of course that was in 1955 [:D]

It's good to see that there are still young folks interested in our sport.  Hopefully you'll get some helpful information.  If you've got questions, I hope you'll feel free to ask.  If you've got some experience or info to share, please do so.

Once again---Welcome.

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome, you are all a bunch or great guys. In response to Aimless's question, weather or not I have had a chance to shoot much, my answer is yes. I got my first rifle when I was 11, my dad bought me a Ruger 10/22 (I love that rifle) and I have been shooting ever since, with the exception of the guns always seem to get bigger and more expensive [:)]. I too find that It is hard to find people my age that enjoy the shooting sports (I mainly think that is so because of the way gun owners are portrayed in the media) but once you find someone that enjoy's shooting as much as you do you, seem to form an eternal bond. Thanks again everyone
