I'm looking at the above house and it appears as though the light-colored brick has been stained along the bottom.  I believe this staining is a result of splashback from the red clay soil.
Does anyone have any experience in removing this or is it pretty much stained that color forever?

alternatively smear the red dirt all over the rest of the house, and it'll match the bottom.

This sounds like another reasonable alternative.
