Does anybody have any experience with Sage Telecom? I'm thinking about dumping SWB in favor of them. I recently moved, and I elected to get standard phone service from SWB. About 90% of the phone numbers I've tried to call [b]WITHIN MY AREA CODE[/b] are considered long distance. I can't even call either of my damn cell phones! If I want to get around this, I'm forced to pay an extra $32/month! WTH? Why can't I call within the same area code without being charged!? |

Sage is just as bad, if not worse, than SWB when it comes to customer service. If you are a Sage customer, and there is a problem with the phone line leading to your house, Sage can't or won't get SWB to fix the problem. The little bit of money I saved with Sage wasn't worth the hassle. Are Sage and SWB the only options there? |
| I like Sage so far, my phone bill is 1/3 of what it was with Southwestern Bell. I got the $24.99 180 minute plan (no caller ID so I get 120 extra minutes of long distance free). Great service, great price, and the satisfaction of being able to tell those clowns at SWB to shove it. BTW, I don't work for Sage, I'm just a very satisfied customer. |
