And I love Him.  But you don't need to wet wood for smoking.  That's a myth, and wastes water.

Nice looking Shepard.

What kind of chips are you using ?

After I soak mine I wrap them in tinfoil and poke holes in the top, seem to produce alot of smoke and cleanup is easy.

And you're better off not using "chips".  Chunks and NO water give the best smoke.  In my experience, anyway.
