Just asking those from Connecticut which Sheriff's are not going to enforce the new gun bill.
Are there any Sheriff's who publicly said that I will not defend this bill? We hear this all over the country that over 300 Sheriff's are not going to support any legislature that infringes our 2nd Amendment rights, just wondering where are they now? |

CT does not have Sheriffs, at least not in the way your thinking. I lived there 3 years. Never saw a sheriff Saw Stratford PD act like JBTs Trumbull PD very professional. Bridgeport PD ![]() That place is truly awful. Indeed!!!! I trained/ worked at Bridgeport hospital |

Really didn't know that. Just state Police? they disbanded the counties (and effectively the sheriffs) in the 70's Local PD and Connecticut State Police are your choices..... And they will all enforce anything you put in front of them But don't they have a sheriff or Marshall or something that serves notices or something? |

Many towns are too small and rural to have police departments. The towns north of my hometown in western CT each had a resident state trooper that lived in and patrolled that town and aided troopers in nearby towns,
There was no county Sheriff or any such office, just municipal departments and state police. |

Needless to say I don't believe the typical Bridgeport resident is going to be registering anything.

Indeed!!!! I trained/ worked at Bridgeport hospital
Yuck! (from Danbury)
Hey!! They made me a good offer.
Danbury hospital has had a LOT of money pumped into it lately, it's all freshly renovated and new, and its a big ol' mother too. Danbury itself is kinda meh but Brookfield (my hometown), Newtown, Bethel, Bridgewater, and other nearby towns are really nice places to live. Course, I'm assuming that recent events will factor into your decision making
On, I left Connecticut years ago. I loved many of the small towns. Southington, Orange, Trumbull, They made me an offer back then. Trained and stayed a year. Then on to Texas. Conn is a beautiful state. |

The same question can be asked for Colorado too then.Just would like to know. I think Its to early to tell........wait and see? The sheriffs here have basically said "fuck you we stand with our people who will not comply" we have some good people on our side. My prayers are with our friends in CT. |
