Cabela's used to be a place I visited and ordered alot on the web. Not so much anymore. They charge TAX now on web orders of other states. |

Quoted: Might have to check out the Columbus store. Is Cabela's better than Bass Pro? The BP here really sucks. Cabela's has a much wider selection of everything. Their stores are also usually a lot bigger than BP. We have a store opening here in Kentucky in about 3 weeks. It is a tiny store, only 88,000 sq ft. The store in Michigan was 200,000 sq ft and their largest store in PA is around 246,000 sq ft. Cabela's was also kicking butt when it comes to gun rights. They were one of the first to pull out of the Eastern Sportsman show when modern sporting rifles were banned. They also carry high capacity magazines for evil assault weapons. Years ago I know BP wouldn't even sell black rifles. Having to pay tax on items from Cabela's once they open is going to suck...but it sure beats having to drive 5 hours to get to their store which is what I previously had to do.
