I went to drag & drop and image onto my desk top, the screen started going blank and then coming back as I moved the mouse. It was almost like a strobe, allowing me to get to the start and restart the system, it has happened twice the last couple days, new system with 2 TB of space and no where near maxed out, more like 15% of space used. Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? Both times I had to restart the PC to make it stop. |

As a world renowned expert on such matters (in my own mind) I can say that ain't supposed to happen. ed. I've had similar behavior with games, where certain scene content would throw graphics into a tizzy. It also happened a couple times in windows, looking at a jpg file. After a couple graphics card upgrades no longer have that problem. Went from GTX480 to GTX580 then to GTX660Ti. Then again I've been keeping the nVidia drivers current all that time.

Quoted: What person would actually delete there OS? And if you just happened to be dumb enough, go find your re-install disk that comes with your computer. Google it and see how many people did The point is why the fuck would you tell someone who might actually try it ? Because you'd think is was funny that they fell for some stupid malicious shit like that. |

Good, seeya' - I'm not tech savvy so I was thinking the delete fix was a good workaround - until I kept reading. What an asshole, you for thinking it's harmless fun, and me for tentativly thinking you were dispensing good advice.
ETA: Osirus23 - you can hit the fuckin' door too. Jrzy, I'm not too adept but I'd start with the peripherals, One at a time try a different mouse, different keyboard, different monitor and at least eliminate what it isn't. |
