I have one for my car, one for my BoB, and I'm looking for one for my house.  This is one I'm currently looking at.  Any suggestions?

Look on Amazon.

If a guy adds some stuff like Izzies, quick Clot guaze, sting injectors, and a few other things, you should be basically good to go.

I'd build it yourself. Most of the "kits" I've seen contain crap you don't want. Splinter removal tools, etc. Just buy the basics and put it in a box you picked up at Wal*Mart. I've seen tackleboxes that worked pretty well.

Assemble your own. Save you a bundle and it'll be better quality.

I'd be willing to consider this if I had a good list of what should be included.  One thing I was thinking about adding to any that I buy is Celox A

Id seriously consider getting the impregnated gauze instead of the powder. You'll need to pack a wound anyway, might as well do it with hemostatic gauze.

That's what I would do. My kit has enough to handle most emergencies, including a Combitube, BVM and IV supplies and fluids. Just make sure you have the training to cover the supplies you have. I'll take training over gear any day.

Assemble it yourself...depending on your current make up(family considerations, ect)  To me, the idea of First Aid is to stop a life threat long enough to get them to a doctor.  So my First Aid Kit has the following:

4x Compressed Gauze
2x Combat Gauze
4x Emergency Trauma Bandage
4x 6in Ace Wrap
2x Cat Tourniquet
2x SOF-T Tourniquet
2x 3in Tape
2x Occlusive Dressing
2x 14G Needle 3 1/4 inches long
Gloves

Extra if desired:
2x Sam Splint
2x NPA
Tylonal
Band Aids
BVM with detachable mask
Aspirin(its different then tylonal)
Normal Saline/Lactated ringer with IV supplies.

This is a lot of what I have.  I also have local anesthetic and sutures, along with various other meds and antibiotics, IV's, and sterile water.

Since it's for home/shtf, it's a large book bag with everything I could think of and I'm always adding little things.....such as foot powder.
