I know a majority of people on here consider themselves Republican/Conservatives/ and American Libertarians, however just curious on seeing the spread.
Poll incoming in a few. |

Libertarians support open borders and as such I cannot support libertarian party canidates.
3.4 Free Trade and Migration We support the removal of governmental impediments to free trade. Political freedom and escape from tyranny demand that individuals not be unreasonably constrained by government in the crossing of political boundaries. Economic freedom demands the unrestricted movement of human as well as financial capital across national borders. However, we support control over the entry into our country of foreign nationals who pose a credible threat to security, health or property. ETA: I'm sure there are those here who will answer libertarian without having ever read the party platform. |

The Political Compass Test
Here's a good place to start if you not quite sure where you fall. |

The Political Compass Test Here's a good place to start if you not quite sure where you fall. According to that test I should have voted Libertarian instead of Independent |

Libertarian values and the Libertarian Party platform are two different things. That's like claiming the Republican Party platform is representative of conservative values (which it's clearly not).

The rino's in the republican party don't really support my views. Rand Paul, Allen West, people of those statue are the people I would like to have more of in the house and senate. |

There is no such animal as a anti-capitolist Libertarian, and no, I don't give a flying fuck what some commie cock fag told you. So I take it you've never heard of libertarian socialism, then. Outside of the English-speaking world that's what people are referring to when they talk about libertarians. The oxymoronic one is "progressive-capitalist." Progressives are by definition anti-capitalist. |

There are libertarians who are not for open borders, though, including noteworthy intellectuals, but of course, their views are not reflected in the LP platform. |
