| I just realized that I don't have a hi-cap pistol, mostly single stack .45's and wheel guns, with a few exceptions. My money mostly goes to long arms. I need a good hi-cap pistol. |

Rather than pay crazy prices and wait forever to get a G17, you could probably get a 92FS and mags right now at "normal" prices and be a very happy camper. Around here, it seems that every other double-stack 9mm has disappeared from existence except for Berettas and BHPs. I say this as a very happy owner of both a G19 and a 92FS. |

Glock 17. G17 is a strong possibility. My douche bag buddies are trying to convert me, keep inviting me out to shoot theirs. I have a bunch of 33 rounders and 9mm for my Kel-Tek. Sounds like a match made in heaven if you've already got mags and ammo. |

The Academy I frequent has both 92FS and 96FS sitting in the case. Both under $500.. They move a lot of Sig's at that store though. |

Quoted: g17/19 and a few g18 33rd mags I like the G19 too and I already have the G18 mags, a bunch of em. I wouldn't mind something in .40 either, I have a lot more of that than 9mm. 9mm is cheaper though and I'm replacing everything I shoot, well, I was before all this bull shit began. |

No kidding. There are no Glocks at the LGS. A couple AR's but at $1600 no way.
