My wife surprised me with tickets to a local Muse concert. I listened to about two tracks off an album. They suck ...bad. The problem is the concert is in Detroit not an area that I want my wife to take my daughter. Should I man up and go knowing it will be painful? Or should I tell to go with my daughter?
Edit: great show. Thanks for the push to go AFCOM! |

Bit of Stockholm Syndrome live: Helpful! It's got rock to it. Thanks! Hope that give you a taste of what they are like live - Hope you enjoy the gig. Let us know what you think. |

I like some of their stuff, but definitely are very good live....so you'll prob enjoy it. this. I've been to a ton of shows, and they have put on some of the best I've been too. Hell of a band live. I'm a fan too though, so YMMV. |

They aren't bad, I would definitely go and give them a chance. Have a few beers and lower your expectations. Aren't they huge libertarians? I remember Glenn Beck was on a big Muse kick a few years ago when I used to listen to his show. They're kind of squirrely politically. The lead singer is/was kind of a truther at one point, IIRC |

Supermassive Blackhole is the only song I really like that I've heard from them so far. But I'd say man up and go. Your wife will appreciate the gesture and often times bands are better live than what you hear on the album.
