Why shouldn't I move there when I retire?

I lived there a while when I was a kid, and my mother still lives there.  Many make fun of it with Deliverance jokes etc...but I thought it was pretty cool when I lived there.

CO is going to shit, so don't really wanna stay here, and AK is just too far to visit family.

Come on!  I moved here from NYC and love it.

It's the only state that if you get divorced, you're still legally brother and sister.

I have lived in numerous places in NC, OK, and CA.... and always end up back here.

Pretty State,
Nice people too!
Fayetteville is really nice. When I visited there I wondered what the hell I was doing living in Texas.

My neice lives there and loves it. We visited her several years ago. I was amazed that people were so large and had so few teeth.

I've pretty much lived everywhere...CO and AK are my favorite places.  CO might be a lost cause, and AK is just too far away from everything.  If I had no family, it would be AK for sure.

I do have family, so AR is looking pretty good.  I remember learning to dive in lake Ouachita.

Don't they have a lot of inbreeding around that state? IDK, just something I heard.

That's where I spend my summers living.  I wake up on the boat, shower, go to work, get off, and go back.  I really do love this state.  Born in Texas, raised in LA and TN, college in NY, and as an adult, living in AR while visiting pretty much every other state.  This is the place I call my home, and the only state I want to be in.

What do you mean, seasons?  It's 74 today and 3 days ago it snowed 8 inches;  If those aren't seasons I don't know what is.

I've always enjoyed my visits to western Arkansa.  If I were to move to there I would be heading for the northwest corner just to stay away from the humidity of the southern part of the state.  The area around Beaver Lake up to the MO state line looks very promising.

Sebastian county is a dry county but fort smith is wet.  That being said, on your way to mena, stop at the top of rye hill( just west of Greenwood), it's the last liqueur store till you get to Paris.
