| So I am incredibly bored tonight so been cruising the net for mags for my newly acquired AK. Well classic arms has Tapco 30 rd in stock for 14.99. More than their 9.99 normal price but cheaper than the 30-40.00 gun show prices. What caught my eye though was a Heritage Rough Rider .22lr revolver for 129.00. My bass pro had one in stock for 199.00 and was one of the few handguns left there. I went and ordered one. I figure for 129.00 if it sucks I will just throw it at a squirrel or rabbit. |

My dad and I each have one of those bouncing around in the truck. We leave the magnum cylinder in it. The other cylinder is... somewhere else in the truck.
It is a nice thing to have always in the truck in case we happen upon a horse/calf with a foot hanging by a thread or some other life ending injury. But usually there is a rifle in the truck. I don't quite understand the disdain of them. No, they are not a Smith. No, they are not a Ruger. No, they are not supremely accurate. Yes, they are pot metal and yes that hammer is aluminum. But it does work as a utilitarian implement. |
| I've got one and shoot it a lot. I probably have 5k rounds through mine with no problems. It was really beat up when I bought it (and still is). I got another one in like new condition that I traded ~120 bucks worth of stuff for. May not be as nice as a Ruger but they are fun and I can hit stuff with them. No complaints from me. |

Sell it as soon as you get it and order a Ruger Single 6/10 instead. Then, step up to a S&W 617 Then, step up to a S&W model 41 I have a single six and a 41. The 41 was passed down to me from my grandpa. For 129 the worst it could do is look bad on the wall in vintage decor, my wife has spent more than that for vintage repop decor. Or heck, a good night at the bar and buying a round or two is more than that.
