Quoted: There is one from a Rob Pincus class where the guy takes like 10 seconds to go all the way around. It was good instruction but I just cracked up at the guy. Quoted: Lol. Tactical pirouettes make me giggle. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w72/enderwood/umad.gif |

Tactical Response? Oh boy... Yeah why does everybody hate Tactical Response so much? yeager. And the 360 degree full turn around they teach people to do instantly after shooting. So you're telling me, if I just shot someone, I should immediately turn my back to them, with my handgun in charlies angel position? That is the most retarded thing I have seen a well known firearm school teach. ETA: Oh, and all those times they had new students shooting at targets with a camera man, down range, IN BETWEEN THE TARGETS. |

Fuck. This. Shit. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Holy shit man...what did I do? Buck is a fuckin retard and his classes are a joke. You wasted your time and money. Do yourself a huge favor - forget everything you learned there and seek out a real training course. |

Quoted: Quoted: Tactical Response? Oh boy... Yeah why does everybody hate Tactical Response so much? Because the CEO is a blemish on the shooting community and pops off at the mouth too much when he should just keep quiet and do his thing. Quoted: Quoted: Fuck. This. Shit. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Holy shit man...what did I do? Nothing. You did absolutely nothing, OP. You went and took a class when 75% of us here have never had official training (me included). And you're disabled, yet you still applied yourself to the class and learned. Nobody's talking shit in your direction - it's the company and the CEO they're hating on. Justifiable, but it just depends on where you stand. |

Did you call James Yeager a pussy because you're doing his class with one arm and he won't? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Didn't call him a pussy but I did challenge him to a shoot off to see whis better with one arm. He was out of town at the time of my course but I know someone who works there and they asked but I haven't got a response back. |

Yeah he got his handgun carry permit suspended because of it. It was big news here in Tennessee. |

You should get ahold of Hickok45 and do a one-arm challenge with him. I can almost guarantee he'd be willing to at least do a co-op video with you I've already talked with him and TNoutdoors9 at the last 2nd Amendment State Capitol rally. Hopefully I'll do a video with both of them! |

Well that and every other video he has made. Plus coming in last on One Man Army. Here is he being wrong about laquer melting in chambers. Like totally, absolutely, wrong. Maximum derp at 2:40. I like his general life philosophy - be the stupidest, loudest, most arrogant man you can be. And if anyone doesn't like you, tell them you'll kill them. |

Apparently you have never taken a class there because that is not how it was taught in my pistol class. After shooting and checking to make sure the target properly shot to shit, you reload you firearm. Then scan the whole area for more threats. There are several reasons for scanning the area. first most people who are involved in a self defense shooting are alone, second criminals tend to travel in packs, third after a shooting a persons senses tend to get funky with all the adrenaline pumping through the system. People have been know to develop tunnels vision and have auditory exclusions. Without physically turning around and scanning the area for more threats the shooter may miss any other approaching threats. |

Yeager just goes out of his way to look like a know- it-all windbag while coming across as a pure clown. On a related note, the recent emphasis on the Tactical Pirouette, and its variants is a great example of how group think can take hold. As always awareness of your 6 is sound policy but turning away from assailants you just shot immediately after firing is not how grown people fight with good reason. |

Actually the US Marshal came in last on One Man Army. But for irony, the former Tier One Operator lost to a homosexual with no military experience at all. |

Not doing a full 360 turnaround immediately after the shot. |

Well he might have performed better if there was a ditch nearby. That's his happy place. He gets all shaky when he gets too far away from one. |

Edit, after checking my training notes from the class, it is taught as Fight. Assess Scan Top off. It been a few years since I have taken the course. I disagree with the placement of scanning and topping off, I prefer to reload as soon as fucking possible. But six of one, half a dozen of another. |

I'd make for the nearest cover while reloading and scanning for threats at the same time. |

Early in at about 0030. Guys shoot bad guy, then IMMEDIATELY start reloading and turning away from badguy. They're slow, sluggish, non-aggressive, and unimpressive. I have seen many videos that are similar from TR. |
