How do I post a pic from my desktop to a post? Computer dumb. |
|
Photobucket.com
It's free and you make an account there. Once you do that, you upload your photos to photobucket from your computer, which is easy. From there, you use the http: address of the photo to put into your post. See, we don't upload our photo's to AR15.com. That would take up WAY too much space. What we do is input their web address locations into our posts and it pulls the photo from there. When you make your post, the last 4 icons are for posting links, videos, and photos. The 4th icon from the right, is a little photo of a mountain with the sun, and if you hover over it it says "add image." The "http://" will be in the pop-up box and highlighted. Make sure you delete it when adding the copied address from photobucket as having 2 of them in the address will make it not work. Just for clarification: For things like the little funny gifs and meme's that we posts on here, we use the same icon and just copy and paste their location. You can just google these things, find one you like, right click the image and go to properties. There, you will find the image location that you can copy and paste into a post using the "add image" box. Hope that helps. |
| For pictures I find on the internet, this is what I do: Right click on the picture----->Properties------>copy the "Address URL"------->then when you are posting an arfcom response, click the picture button that looks like a little mountain with a sun and paste the "address URL" into that box. |
