http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbRlgEK27Jg A song written by Hendrix after meeting Frank Zappa at the Warner Brothers studio and hearing Zappa work on one of his early albums. One of my favorites because it's got both of my favoite guitarists' styles in it. Also a neat video because Hendrix is playing a Fly and not a Fender Stratocaster. Odd synchronicity that not too long before his death, Zappa bought and had restored the Fender that Hendrix burned on stage at the Monterey Pop Festival. |
