Why boycott Coors? They've supported the shooting sports for years. Well, a lot of CO business before the Libtards were into the shooting sports........ After the Kalifornication began, they (libtards) have slowly been suing the fuck out of ranges, and just making life miserable in general. That being said, whatever the cost, we must make them know that their actions have ramifications beyond just pissing off the Right (and by ramifications, I mean fiscal, and other LEGAL ramifications that one may manifest by using boycott and other legal means of non-violent protest). |

Spread the word. If Magpul's contribution to Colorado's economy isn't enough to make a change, let's go for something bigger. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Support-Magpul-Industries-by-boycotting-Coors-and-Budweiser/458879624179463 i've been boycotting Budweiser since the kids sold it to Inbev. a Belgium company. I only drink American beer. Fuck Budweiser and fuck Colorado.....and I was born there. Got out as fast as I could. Stupid fucking liberals from California have taken over and that state is ruined. |

You may want to look into this more first. Last I knew, Coors is run by a strong conservative family and you may be hurting an important ally there. I don't drink the stuff so it doesn't matter to me but pick targets that will hurt the State while not hurting some of the best hope of opposition to libtardism there.
If someone knows alternative information about Coors' politics, let us know but I think we may want to leave them alone. |

The orginal family still retains majority ownership in the company and they are very conservative. |

I just left a note on their page. Doesn't Gov Hickenlooper own a brew pub in downtown Denver? He used to but I can't recall its name. I wonder how the Gov would like to experience a little boycott / downturn in his business? Nasty beer only made to get people drunk, so they can drive under the influence, and kill innocent children.
More people are killed by drunken drivers every year than all firearms combined. Makes perfect sense to me to ban beer. If not why not? No booze, no drunk drivers, a huge issue of children's safety solved. Oh yea, let's let him brew non alcoholic beer, after all they were willing to compromise with MagPul and the citizens of CO by cutting regular magazine capacity from 30 rounds to 15 rounds. makes perfect sense to me. Go MagPul! |

Guess I'll have to start swapping over to Coors (after getting primed up on other beer) |

I updated the page so it doesn't specifically target Coors or Budweiser, just the Colorado Alcohol Industry in general. Here's the logic, Coors and Budweiser have deep pockets and an army of lawyers and lobbiest. Colorado depends on the money that they bring into the state. If we can make a dent in that money, the democrats would have to listen. I understand that Coors is a conservative company and both companies have been good to the shooting sports, but they are staying silent right now. I also like that the governer is in the brewery business and this could effect him personally.
I have no real reason to hurt any of the brewery's as just like us, they have done nothing wrong. The purpose of this is to point out just how stupid the democrats are by going after local businesses and gun owners and completely avoiding the real issues of mental health and crime and punishment. In fact a representative from Lafayette is introducing legistlation to REDUCE mandatory sentencing for violent crimes. It's like they a rubbing it in our faces. I know this probably won't go anywhere but I'm tired of getting ignored by our so called representatives who are more attracted to Bloomberg's money than listening to the people. If money is all they understand, let's make them listen. |
I first read this as you didn't want me to buy alcohol anymore but now I understand. Sorry though, I have good friends that work at a few breweries here. I won't voluntarily jepardize taking care of their families to prove a point, which wouldn't happen anyways. Nice thought though.

The head Distiller at Stranahan's is a friend of mine, Army vet (10th Mountain) and is on our side in a major way, and so are most people who work in the field. Prohibitionism & the ATF aren't popular with folks in the industry. Go ahead and boycott CO products in general, but targeting the alcohol industry specifically is counterproductive & will only hurt friendlies & piss them off. |

This is a dumb idea.
