| Let's say that I might have gone to the electronics store today. When I might have been there I might have been looking for mercury switches when I might have seen a non-caucasian enter the store and head straight for the ic aisle. Then I might have heard the non-caucasian say what might have sounded like "Allah" (it could have been "a-ha") as soon has he found the 555 timer chips. Now would it have been o.k. to call the feds and report this suspicious non-caucasian that might have occured this afternoon? |

555 timer chips are used in literally thousands of different types of circuits. Unless we want to degenerate into the NAZI and communist way of life, we must resist 'suspecting' anyone for doing something that we would do ourselves. We are not a society of criminals as a whole but if we are taught to question motives in only negative ways, we'll be killing boys for looking at our daughters, men for looking at our wives, and foreigners for just being here. |

Now that you mention it, that non-caucasian might have been looking a little too much at the caucasian womenz at the cash register. |

saying shoot nim on the spot might be going to far, so I would sugest simply butting him across the head with the but of you ar15 and just suck up the assualt charge as your contrubution to "Home Land Defense" |

You know that Halloween Simpsons where Homer gets a shotgun and shoots Ned Flanders, and his kids yell "Dad! You killed the zombie Flanders!" to which Homer replies "He was a zombie?!?" Act in a similar fashion. Except replace Ned Flanders with Arab buying bomb circuits, and zombie with terrorist. |

Another question: Say you're a medical student of Middle Eastern origins, and you and your friends are talking in a restaurant about how you thought 9-11 was a good thing. You notice your conversation is being listened to with obvious disapproval by a nearby patron, so you decide to have a little "fun" by making up a story about how you are planning on comitting a terrorist strike on 9-13. Do you or do you not deserve to sweat in jail for a few hours while the cops tear your cars apart? (My answer would be not just yes but HELL YES.) |

I've seen several posts like this, some saying the Med students admitted they did do this. I saw an interveiw after the incident in which one of them denied they said anything. Any one got solid info on this or is it all speculation? The woman could have heard they were on their way to Miami, without them saying the other things..... |

Did you hear the woman's report in her words? I'm more apt to believe her than the dimwits who are foreigners and yet get cocky with the cops, have the wrong license tags on their car and blow toll booths. |

I watched a lot of the coverage, including several interviews with her, and 1 with one of the guys at a rest stop after their release. (He denies her allegations, so it's "he said she said") I have not heard if they were cited for blowing the toll, have you? I'm sure it's a citable infraction. If they were released without being cited, why? It's my understanding they refused to allow a search. Is that "cocky with the cops"?? At least one of them was a born in USA citizen. Seems to me he was asserting his rights under the 4th amendment, something I also would do. Does that make one "cocky"?? I don't have a problem with the response by L.E., but I may have one with her....AND operation "TIPS".... |

Its time we round up all middle eastern men and deport them to their country of origin. We should have done this a long time ago. Let them re-immigrate under more strict rules. I would have followed these guys from the electronics store, gotten their license number and called the cops. You cannot trust any of them. I suspect they all swear their allegience to allah. And because of that they can never be trusted Americans. [nomex on] |

I don't know the end result of citations or not. Basically it's a credibility issue. I just don't find them credible. She's apparently got almost nothing to gain from lying about what they said. They've apparently got a LOT to gain from lying about what they said. And they've already weakened their credibility by breaking the law twice (she could not have known that beforehand). |

Original question. If all you can tell the fed is what you told us, it will only tie up valuable resources unless you live in a one horse town that is. As for the three, go to one of their countries and do the same and see if you get off and then put on TV. I know not. You would never see your family again. Forget the 9/11 issue, if you had done what they did would you walk. Citations be damned. Wrong plate and jail till ownership and bond is posted. If you think you would walk, you are living in Disneyland. Why do these guys get special treatment cause they are Arab. Burns me a lot............ |
