I know. Wrong forum. I did a search, I asked on GFD, its posted with no answer on Build it Yourself. So I am asking here: Can I mill the ears of a bayo lug or does it have to come right off to be post-ban legal?
Thanks
BP

I read (in the GF forum, IIRC) that it's legal to just grind off the "ears" which retain the bayonet.

I believe CavArms did that to make Jojo's rifle post-ban legal.

you still have a threaded barrel with a non flash hider doodad that must be pinned or silver soldered in place.

I have a Kurts Kustom fake suppressor ready to install(permanently). Just thought I'd like to keep the profile of the lug. I really dont care if it works, I don't even own a bayonet.
The only pre-ban feature I WOULD like to have is FS. Not for its function but its looks. Hence, the KKF FFS.
What a stupid law.
Thanks for the help.
