Just left Jay's Sporting Goods in Clare, MI...a big LGS...nice place...good people. My first venture to a lgs since the gun apocalypse of 2013 and I was looking for small rifle primers (I was all set with ammo, mags etc ). I read all the threads about the empty shelves and devastation shortly after Sandy Hook but I wasn't really prepared for what I saw. Whole rifle racks empty...no ammo...pistol cases almost wiped out, etc!    The saddest thing was over in the reloading area watching others standing around looking at reloading manuals trying to figure out how to make the very limited selection of powders work for their rifles! I got some primers and left depressed. Gonna drink bourbon and dream of better times.

Wow, that is sad.  I've stopped in there in my travels over the years, and before the internet, their selection was astounding.  I wonder if their store in Gaylord is just as wiped out.

When ammo and stuff starts returning I bet the ranges will be a madhouse full of people burning ammo and stress.

LGS I go to has some large rifle primers left. High priced though. No small rifle primers to be found though.

Yeah I was surprised too. That was about the only thing they had in the reloading area. Limit one box per customer..I got one and wife bought one.
