[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Prayer request....Update (Page 1 of 2)

| In the hospital with the wife to induce delivery. Doctor said today that she will likely need a C-Section. We are hoping that she can give birth naturally. One way or another though, that baby is coming out tomorrow. Keep us in your thoughts please. |

Help her make the right choice if needed. The worst thing is to have a long and difficult labor, and then have to have an emergency c-section.
You'll love the baby just as much no matter how it was delivered. The most important thing is a healthy baby and a healthy mama, not how you get there. |

Just out of vulgar curiosity, why does the idea of a C-Section freak you out? OP is offline now. My guess it's his first child. Lots of worries, I know the feeling. Heck afterward I found ladies who did not want vaginal child birth. Straight to the O.R to cut. |

Both my children were born C-Section. All went well and they were perfectly fine.
It is pretty strange to watch them cut your wifes gut open and then run their arm up in there to retrieve a baby. I was provided a chair about that time to sit for the rest of the procedure.

| My 3 sons were all born C-section. The Dr told me "come on in and watch". I prefer throwing up in private. I told him if he didn't do any plaster repairs I wouldn't help deliver babies. It was a perfect arrangement for all of us, and every one of the boys came out fine. God is good. All the time. |
