Im not sure about the source of this article but it makes for an interesting read regardless. I am not one to buy into conspiracy theories/tin foil hat topics but found this to be entertaining and disturbing at the same.

I'm not sure which argument is more tinfoil-esque: that our economy is being purposefully and deliberately crashed to facilitate the rise of a new world order, or that it is being simultaneously mismanaged to destruction by a whole lot of people who are theoretically among the best qualified to ensure that doesn't happen.

This isn't the first time this sort of article has popped up on the net nor is it out of the realm of possibility (probability?) Given how many people these days get their information, including their talking points, from internet forums it makes perfectly good sense. Also, behind the (falsely) assumed anonymity of the internet folks are more likely to say what they really think. Similarly it's a real time version of webbots that not only collects information, but can make analysis of and report on trends as they happen as well as possibly steer them in desired directions. The internet is a LOT more important than the republicans seem to be able to grasp and they've fallen so far behind I doubt they'll catch up.
As for the rest of the article/interview, guess we'll see. Strangely, or actually not so strangely, science fiction writers have warned us of this. |
