There are thousands of folks who are gay who are ardent supporters of the RKBA - many as a result of harassment concerning their orientation. Several are members here, and I would gladly stand on the modern version of the Lexington Green shoulder to shoulder with them againt the forces of tyranny should that moment ever come (let's hope it doesn't). Additionally, one's sexuality should not effect a pre-existing friendship. If I got repeatedly propositioned by anybody - male or female - after telling them "no, thanks" that would be the friendship breaker, just as if your buddy continued to smoke in your house after you asked them not to. Besides, if they're your buddy and know your orientation didn't match theirs, I doubt they'd even ask you. WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait - was the poll in favor of gays being worse, or Obama voters being worse?
The very fact that someone would try to compare to the two is kind of bad enough (a lifer even  Bro, we gotta talk...)...making the poll options ambiguous is even worse to the latent grammar Nazi in me 
Don't care about gay one way or the other. May as well make inquisitions as to smooth or chunky peanut butter as far as I'm concerned. If a gay person wants to be as unhappy as a straight person in a marriage, I have no problems with that either. I do have problems when the lifestyle is shoved down throats though, like in schools and such. But, that's my only gripe. I'd sooner hang for a weekend with a gay guy (in a non-homo way ) than some Obama voting chick, even if she is putting out. Well...ehh. That's iffy. If she's not putting out, then NFW, I'm hanging out with the gay guy and people watching at the bar all weekend.
