Today's sunset (approx 5pm) Sorry I didnt get better pics
I have no idea why, but there are some days where you get all sorts of colors in the sunsets up here. Never seen it like this in any other state. Some days it will get to the point where everything is tinted orange or red or purple. After 25 years of living here, just like the northern lights, it is something neat to see every time

It has something to do with the air quality like dust, pollution, and also i think because of the angle of light. Might be more into that which I don't know. They do have that sunset in the southern states as well too. |
