Me too, we were just talking about that calling someone a "commie" now doesn't mean shit. "Huh, what?" 
At least back then we knew who the enemy was and our country was actually united against evil. The commies and the cold war helped us in many ways...keeping Islamist's suppressed for the most part. We pulled out of Africa and their aid once the wall fell...shortly after, their economies sunk, they looted all the banks and burnt down all the breweries to give us Africa today. |

I have the DVR set. Cautiously optimistic. FX usually puts out good shows so we'll see. I can handle stars of show being cop killers (Shield), murders and gun/drug runners (SOA), not sure if I will warm up to spies though. We will see who is who. I have no problem with spies by itself, it could make for a great story. I'll have a problem with it if they make the "hero's" of the show communists that spy on or kill Americans. |

I think we'll have to see... FX has been known to throw curves....we'll see. If it glorifies the communists and strikes down America, I can see FX getting blowback... As of now, I am intrigued...but I will let people know what I think if it is something that pissed me off. |
