I want to send a handgun to my dad. I am in GA and he is in WA. Do I have to have an FFL send it to his FFL or can I ship it to his FFL?

All you need is a copy of his FFL's license to ship it.

Yup , via common carrier (ups or FedEx )

FFL to FFL only by USPS

You can ship to his FFL. However, some FFL's will not accept a gun from a non FFL. If your dad's FFL is fine with taking i a gun from a regular joe, ship away.

You can ship it overnight thru FedEx or UPS to his ffl if his ffl will accept from an individual.
You cannot ship thru USPS.gov.
