Has any one had any experience with this software? I can't find many user reviews. It is supposed to help optimize computer speed and remove factory installed software. Removing the software is going to be my main use for it.

Never heard of it, never used it.
My advice would be to stay away from it.

If you want to remove factory bloatware, you can get rid of 95% of it by yourself by using the Add/Remove programs dialog in the Control Panel (for Windows PCs)

If your PC was once fast but now is slow, there's a lot of free programs that will help you get back the performance.

Almost all of those "speed up my computer" thingies are bullshit or outright money grab scams.

Horse shit.
Get microsoft security essentials, anti malwarembytes, and spybot seek & destroy.

Do a deep scan with all of them. Should fix most issues you have with minimal input.

Yep, this has been true from the early days of PCs.

If you want to remove programs, go to Start|Control Panel|Programs and Features, and remove bloatware to your heart's content. (I'm assuming you have Windows 7, if not, get it .)

Stay far away from anything you see advertised on TV to speed up your computer. Stick with software company's that have long standing reputations.

Malwarebytes pro for $24.99 is a great way to go. No subscription or renewal fees, buy it and you own it for life. The free version is still great but the pro version does flash scanning and has a real-time web monitor that blocks known malicious sites from opening. I've been using it over a year now with no other protection. I do run spybot and MSE every few months to make sure malwarebytes hasn't missed anything but they have never picked anything up since I installed pro. I get malicious site blocked warnings at least 2 or 3 times a day. It will even block embedded code in images on web pages.

Spybot S&D, MS Security Essentials, HijackThis! and Lavasoft AdAware are all good, reliable choices.

For general clean up, I use CCleaner. It's a very good free program for managing clutter. It even allows you to flag cookies that you don't want deleted so you don't have to log back into all your regular sites after clearing cache.

If you want some reinforcement on good software, go spend some time on http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ and see what their experts frequently recommend when helping people with their spyware issues.

All of those speed up your PC apps are usually gimicks. Do what the the guys above said. Or if your stuff is really bad, just install your OS from scratch(after backing everything up of course) and starting clean from there.

Stay off the porn sites.
