Thought it was probably the best movie I saw last year. I know it wasn't very realistic. Well maybe it was. I've never been a cop in LA or know anybody that has. Either way, they made it feel believable.

That was life on Patol in a very real sense. Very realistic. Some stuff was far fetched but could happen. the puruits and first shootouts, fights etc... very real though

I found myself laughing at 95% of the movie. Just the chatter back and forth is hilarious. Some seriously fucked up stuff in the movie though. It was SouthLand on steroids IMO. Loved it.

Just watched it last weekend. Another good quote, from the hispanic cop to the white cop after he'd been married just a short time :

Lost my best friend in AFG last year so this was a hard one to watch. Great movie though, a lot of soldier movies over the last decade, this one really gave credit to the cops who are just soldiers at home. I thought they did an excellent job making it very personal so you felt the loss. It was excellent.
