The USMC is a separate service within the DoN falling under authority of SecNav. Not a part of the Navy. But enjoy your little attempt at creating a shit storm. I would like to associate myself with the comments of my fellow Jarhead. This. And the first post of course. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: The Navy is a support branch of the USMC. Amphibious transport,CAS, and naval gunfire, are the only three justifications for the Navy to exist. Damn, you caught it before I could quote it. Yut.. I was getting ready to post this great smart ass comment about Marines counting abilities too. I am disappoint |

I figured I'd update the classic, and forgot to update the count... one, a few, and "shitload" dosn't translate well to actual numbers. LOL!! |

I am not a Marine, never been a Marine, and would never have met the medical qualifications to be a Marine. By coincidence my Marine (Ret.O-5) father (86 yo) happened to call while I was reading this thread.
When I mentioned it to him, he laughed. It’s because we’re infantry he said, not sailors. We fight on land. One mans opinion. I enjoyed growing up in the USMC in the 50's and 60's. I got to live in most places where Marines are camped. Mike Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Face it, once we get those Corpsmen with us, they become us, so I'm not sure your're technically correct! Semper Fi, Brothers and Sisters! |

It's hard to write all that extra shit with dull crayons. Look Fucker! We've had colored sharpies for years now! Ever time I try and sharpen mine, they get colored fluids on my hands. Do you think the pencil sharpener is heating them up and melting the wax? |

You can't sharpen them, you have take them to third echelon for that. |
