Has anyone else felt the need to reorganize their safe lately? I finally got around to it today. In light of recent events, I came to the conclusion that I had a few guns taking up room in my safe that would actually be better used to house mags and ammo. Based on replacement cost and availability I was much better off moving old shotguns and some C&R stuff out to make room for ammo and magazines. I have yet to meet anyone who could get all their junk in their safe so it always seems to come down to priorities. What's yours?

A couple years back I remodeled the interior, cutting new shelves, using
some kind of automotive type carpeting/material that virtually matched
the original fabric.  There's no way I'm going to buy a bigger safe - certainly in the next 4 years, so I'm selling guns I haven't used in 2+ years and working toward something like 5-6 rifles max.

While spreading nice guns to people who can't find them, I'm raising the level of quality and making badly needed space in the gun safe.

When I remove the guns I intend to sell, the safe looks better organized, and the long guns just look better when there aren't a bunch of duplicates.

I did mine last week. After I was done I could fit another rifle in it, but now two complete lowers don't fit.

I really need another safe!

I was going to buy a safe but after figuring how big a safe I needed I decided to make a safe room in the house. Interior closet with hidden door so nobody will know it's there.

The other day my wife asked me what part of my collection would be affected by a new ban.

Based on what I knew about Feinstein's plan, I started pulling guns out. (I was left with 4 pistols. )

I was able to organize it a little better and make it easier to take out the rifles I use frequently.
