Has anyone else felt the need to reorganize their safe lately? I finally got around to it today. In light of recent events, I came to the conclusion that I had a few guns taking up room in my safe that would actually be better used to house mags and ammo. Based on replacement cost and availability I was much better off moving old shotguns and some C&R stuff out to make room for ammo and magazines. I have yet to meet anyone who could get all their junk in their safe so it always seems to come down to priorities. What's yours? ![]() |

A couple years back I remodeled the interior, cutting new shelves, using some kind of automotive type carpeting/material that virtually matched the original fabric. There's no way I'm going to buy a bigger safe - certainly in the next 4 years, so I'm selling guns I haven't used in 2+ years and working toward something like 5-6 rifles max. While spreading nice guns to people who can't find them, I'm raising the level of quality and making badly needed space in the gun safe. When I remove the guns I intend to sell, the safe looks better organized, and the long guns just look better when there aren't a bunch of duplicates. |

The other day my wife asked me what part of my collection would be affected by a new ban.
Based on what I knew about Feinstein's plan, I started pulling guns out. (I was left with 4 pistols. I was able to organize it a little better and make it easier to take out the rifles I use frequently. |
