I love Floyd, but I have no patience for douchebag libs like Roger Waters after whats been going on in my home state. No kidding. I saw him, alone, out here in Phoenix back in 2005/6? and it was nothing but Bush bashing from the first note. I'll never go see that prick again. R.I.P Richard |

I think I still got a buzz from the 94 concert. Which one, Pittsburgh, Cleveland or Columbus? I was at all three.....or was I? I was at the Cleveland one.. 2nd day Oh wow, I'd forgot about the dual shows. I don't remember which I was at, but saw them on Weds, Fri and Sun of that week. It did rain a little at the Cleveland show so maybe you can tell me which day it was. Heck, I don't quite remember which order they were in. Pittsburg, Cleve then Cols? I think that's right. Seeing them in the old "Dog Pound" was awesome with all the riveted steelwork supports for the balcony. We sat pretty much center right, just far enough under the balcony to stay dry. I can remember hearing the supports rattle when low notes resonated..just awesome. |

Meddle is my favorite Pink Floyd album. Echoes is my favorite song. So many "Floyd fans" don't even know about the album. Many think you said "metal". Fuck, that's a good album. Great first reply. |

One of my favorite Floyd tunes.

The older stuff is the best. Echoes set the framework of what Floyd became musically after Syd went..well..away.
Still love Bike, Arnold Layne, See Emily play, but Echoes through The Wall are my fave with Dark Side of the Moon being tops in my book. David Gilmour said in an interview that he never had the chance to listen to Dark Side all the way through "for the first time" since they wrote the songs and had heard it all before. (Hope that made sense.) I heard it through headphones the first time on the advice of a friend. Best advice from a friend I ever got! |

It had a setting to simulate quadrophonic sound that used a gate to send different tones to the front and rear channels. Any Colour You Like was quite an experience with that system. Most people do not appreciate Meddle. Their loss... |
