What's the best way to get it off your hands after cleaning? My boss says I always "smell like that gun cleaning stuff". I tried wearing rubber gloves, but, they fall apart AND they hinder my cleaning ability.

What about Military guys? What do you do out in the field?

Personally....i savor the smell of CLP. It's got that "just got done shooting" smell to it. Reminds me of the good times with buddies drinking beer and cleaning guns.

But if you dislike the smell, get some Lava. Or fast orange. Any of those heavy duty hand cleaners should work well.

fast orange or other "orange, garage type" cleansers work well.
i always wear gloves, though, i sometimes had the fall apart thing happen with normal latex, but i switched to the blue nitrile non-latex type EMS gloves, and they hold up, even when using shooter's choice, and that shit's like 4 molar hydrochloric acid!!!!!!!

I use standard latex surgical gloves and have no trouble with any solvents or lubes inc. CLP.

I find the fit is second skin and not a hinderance.

Are we talking about the same gloves.

Second the Lava soap, stuff cleans anything.

Mostly, I think the gloves get weakend and then torn. I think I'll try the blue EMS gloves.  Thanks
