I bought one of those Furminator's. It's a special brush for dogs that costs around $65. I was skeptical because of the cost. I brushed both dogs, short haired shepherd mixes; male around 75 pounds and the female around 50 pounds. Ended up with a basketball size ball of hair which filled a small trash bag. In fact it looks like a pillow, with dog hair inside- hoping the guys looking for cans that dig through the trash find it. I am not taking pictures of the giant ball of hair because it is a giant ball of hair- which is disgusting. However if you own dogs, I can't recomend enough, the Furminator.

Here is a video where the Furminator makes one dog into two dogs!

I bought mine (original, not knock off) off E-Bay for about half the MSRP.

Interesting. Are you guys using the vacuum accessory as well, or just the brush?
