Need a quick answer to this so I turn to GD, looking to attend an appleseed shoot in a couple weeks, only thing this I might have to leave on Saturday at about 2:30-3:00. Is most of the instruction usually over by then?

Most of it. You'll miss the full distance component and Inches Minutes Clicks sight adjusItment exercise. But go anyway!
