Over the holiday, I found a FSA General. This guy had the scam ROLLING. The gig was he bought 3 condemned houses, and did just the minimum repairs on them so they would pass inspection. He then added a 8ft chain link fence around all three houses. He then enrolled the houses in the 'child care for wellfare recipients' program. This program is supposed to be for welfare recipients, to allow them to take their kids somewhere while they go look for a job.
Then he went to all the well fare recipients around his area and told them about his new child care center, along with a twist. They all take their kids to this child care facility, and apply to work as a child care provider at his facility. Then he would hire the well fare person, and they can watch their own child while getting paid for it and he would take a cut off the top. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
This is where our tax dollars go. |

This is where our tax dollars go. Sounds legal... How much was he making? Dunno, the the state of Texas shut him down...so I think it was less than legal. |

In one of my jobs, I adjudicate childhood disability cases. When the "school choice" voucher program was rolled out in Wisconsin, we saw several variations on this scam. People were opening "schools" in their basements and giving mothers a cut of the proceeds in return for enrolling their kids. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
