I am sighting in my scope on my RWS54 air gun. It is 3 degrees outside so I am doing it in my basement at 10 yards.
I want to sight it in at 40 yards, because according to the ballistic calculator with the pellet I am using I like that trajectory the best. If I were to sight the gun in at 40 yards, according to the BC that would mean my POI at 10 yards would be 1 inch low. So....If I sight in my gun at 10 yards in the basement, and the POI is one inch low at 10 yards, doesn't that theoretically mean the gun is sighted in at 40 yards? Does that make sense? |
